From the Andrew Marr show, as reported by Bloomberg:
North Sea oil and gas is declining, we’ll import more and more and be exposed to swings in oil prices and also importing from some pretty dangerous places,” Energy and Climate Change Secretary Ed Miliband said in a July 12 interview on the British Broadcasting Corp.’s Andrew Marr show. “Or, and I think this is the right way to go, we can plan for the low-carbon future.”
What would his brother the Foreign Secretary say about this?
In 2009, we have imported gas from Norway, Holland, Algeria, Australia, Trinidad and Qatar. Who exactly is dangerous? The Qataris have a history of interference in the UK, but only when invited by the heir to the throne. Algeria has sent LNG to Spain and France for fifty years. Are they dangerous?
And notice not a molecule from the big, bad bear.
